THE MOTORSPORT EVENT FOR E-MOBILITY
ADAC e-competition
Imagine being part of a unique competition on the Hockenheimring Grand Prix circuit, where teams of production electric cars (BEVs) compete for the best strategy. It’s not just about speed, but about the perfect balance between charging times and driving behavior.
The winner is the team that completes the most laps on the Hockenheimring Grand Prix circuit within the competition period. The best strategy leads to class and/or overall victory.
But the ADAC e-competition offers more than just exciting competitions. It is a platform for networking and exchange, a place where mobility enthusiasts come together to experience the latest developments in electromobility and to network.
Be part of this exciting competition and experience how teams from all over the world are shaping the mobility of tomorrow.

Corporate and private teams
At the ADAC e-competition motorsport event, private and company teams compete with their electric car (BEV) in 100% standard condition. Take advantage of the special flair of the Hockenheimring to present your brand, your car dealership, your company or your club in a very special way. Team spirit, team strategy and consumption-optimized driving lead to success. Whether you are aiming for victory or class victory, or just taking part is what counts for you, in the end you will have an unforgettable experience with your team. Addictive factor guaranteed.
Comments on the ADAC e-competition
"The 24h eCompetition was a complete success for us! Because it shows that electromobility is not only sustainable, but also fun. And our two teams had plenty of that. We would like to thank the organizers and are already looking forward to the next competition - our teams and charging solutions are ready."

We didn't have much experience with the charging behavior of the vehicles provided to us by KIA Germany. Racing at the Hockenheimring was also new to us, which meant we had to improvise at one point or another.
We took an engineering approach to developing a charging strategy by considering which parameters are crucial for a successful race.
As the underdogs of the competition, we first had to get used to the behavior of the vehicles and draw conclusions about the planned charging strategy from the feedback on the vehicle's charging status during the race. Surprisingly, the charging strategy was implemented as planned.
When we realized that we had some chance of finishing on the podium halfway through the race, the racing fever broke out even more and the motivation increased even more.
The last battery charge was particularly tricky, as we couldn't have too much or too little. In the end, the Niro finished with only 1% battery charge and the Soul with 3%.
The event was an all-round success, everyone treated each other sensibly and fairly and we also made a few contacts with other teams.
We are already looking forward to the next race at the end of October.

"A great experience, which was further enhanced by the involvement of Norbert Haug! The 24-hour e-competition also allowed us amateurs/beginners to gain experience, overcome obstacles and grow!
There is not much to say about the organization, except Chapeau! Very structured, always available for the participants and professionally organized. This makes an event fun! We will be back again soon!
An efficiency-oriented competition is more exciting than many people think. Developing the strategies in advance, testing the technology and preparing/coaching the riders was very intensive and instructive at the same time. Then to see how the individual gears interlock on the day of the competition and how the motivation of the entire team is maintained despite multiple setbacks is really impressive and can probably only be explained by the contagion of "competition fever".
Unfortunately, due to technical problems with Team I's car very early on, we could no longer hope for a good position. Nevertheless, we were determined to get the car across the finish line. Team II was able to take victory in its class, which we would like to repeat with both vehicles next time!"

"The special prize is a great gesture and has shown that electric/motorsport and social commitment are not mutually exclusive, but enrich each other in a wonderful way."
