ADAC E-COMPETITION

The competition series for electric cars

The ADAC e-competition at the Hockenheimring shows what electric mobility is already capable of today – under real racing conditions and on one of Europe’s most famous racetracks.

The motorsport event for electromobility.

Experience the ADAC e-competition on the Grand Prix track of the Hockenheimring – a team competition that brings e-mobility to life under real-life conditions.

Teams competing in series-production electric vehicles (BEVs) face off against one another and work together to develop their racing and charging strategies. The key to success is not top speed, but rather the interplay of driving style, charging times, tactics, and teamwork. The team that completes the most laps within the competition time is the winner.

In addition, the ADAC e-competition offers space for exchange, encounters and networking around practical experiences with electric mobility.

The competition is designed as an efficiency drive. Clear rules on driving times, driver changes and safety ensure a fair and orderly process. Participation is at the participant’s own risk; questions regarding insurance cover must be clarified by the vehicle owner.
